Hey, PassDIYer's:
After many a moon, I finally finished my
Pearl. I added volume and balance controls, a moving coil step-up
transformer, and a switch for auxiliary inputs, so that the Pearl can
serve as a passive preamp for the rest of my system, which includes a
Hafler Transnova 9505, (at least until I retire and build my own set of
upper and lower frequency Pass A75's to drive my Vandersteen 3A
Signatures !!), and a Liteaudio DAC-60 tube DAC. I found a nice case and
the last two Alps Black Beauties on the planet, so it makes for a nice
package. I've enclosed a couple circuit schematics and some photos to
share with the other DIYer's who enjoy your website. Please keep those
GREAT projects coming !!
