I started this A75 project about 3 years ago. I aquired the sinks and cards first, and planned on buying the output devices and transformer later. About the time I got the cards loaded along came the SOZ and there went my heatsinks. So I've been enjoying my SOZs for quite awhile and then the bug hit again. The money was there so bye bye SOZs. The chassis construction is based around the heatsinks, which is pleasing to me. I just have to find big enough sinks for my layouts. The output driver cards were drawn and etched by me. The transformer is from Plitron and I used IRFP 240/9240 devices. The sinks were purchased as a 6' extrusion and cut and milled to size. Aluminumn is easy to snap a tap off in, but I found that cleaning the tap 2 or 3 times for each hole and some wd40 works pretty good. Start up threw me a couple of curves but Nelson and the gang at DIY Audio were there to help me through it. This is a great amplifier and I'm glad I finally built it. And yes, amplifiers that will drive down to .1 ohm are really cool. The preamp in the picture is my BOSOZ. Thanks to everyone at Pass Labs.
